Installing Ubuntu on existing Ubuntu

I somehow can’t upgrade my current Ubuntu to the recent one
and I can’t remove the existing Ubuntu through Windows OS due to no administration access (office computer)
also, it doesn’t detect the installation CD (meh!)

Insert CD (if 64 bits doesn’t work, try 32 bits – my computer is 64 bits but it doesn’t detect or even try to run 64 bits Ubuntu – weird)
Press F12 (whichever that goes into BIOS)

It should appear, BOOT from CD-ROM

If not, Press F2 or ESC to get to BOOT and check if BOOT from CD-ROM is supported (or disabled)
Shut down (with the CD already in), when turning on again, press F12
It should work… I hope

you’ll be on LiveCD, and Install! 😉
